About Transportation Lighting Insights

Exploring the relationship between visibility and transportation outcomes.

Transportation Lighting Insights was created to encourage discussion regarding the role of roadway lighting within transportation engineering.

While roadway lighting has traditionally been viewed through an electrical lens, it also directly influences transportation safety, operations, mobility, accessibility, multimodal accommodation, and human factors.

The purpose of this platform is to explore those relationships through articles, field observations, professional commentary, and practical examples from the transportation environment.
